Vendit Invited to OECS Conference to Offer Expertise on the Subject.

The Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) invited Vendit to their upcoming conference on Fintech innovations to speak as part of their roundtable discussions.

The OECS is an international inter-governmental organization dedicated to economic harmonization and integration, protection of human and legal rights, and the encouragement of good governance among independent and non-independent countries in the Eastern Caribbean comprising Antigua and Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Martinique and Guadeloupe.

Future of Financial Systems

This OECS conference is being carefully watched and is significant because it will give guidance to the future of financial systems in the Eastern Caribbean States. Vendit is proud to be invited for its expertise in conventional financial systems, as well as in modern and future financial ecosystems through blockchain.

Vendit has a broad overview of financial eco-systems, both old and new, and can therefore bring the expertise to the discussion that is needed to build a solid future for Fintech and for the Eastern Caribbean States.

While there are many blockchain/Fintech topics to be discussed at this conference, one that will be particularly of interest will be on the subject of crypto-backed asset lending, which many believe will be a forward step in the achievement of crypto and blockchain mass adoption.

It is Vendit’s goal to help bring the OECS Credit Unions to the forefront of Fintech, which includes utilizing blockchain technologies Vendit has been building. In accomplishing this goal, Vendit is working closely with AGC&C, a consulting firm in the Caribbean, in compliance and communications with the assoicated parties involved with the endeavor.

Also in attendance will be 16+ small to large banks and credit unions looking for a more interconnected and simplified solution for payments and usability. Vendit is looking forward in engaging with them to discuss such solutions and the possibilities that are available through current and future Fintech innovations.
